October 11, 2011 … Council agenda item: From the Property Committee. “A motion to authorize the Solicitor to send to Safe harbor Water Power Corp. the Letter of Intent prepared by the Solicitor (draft prepared September 15, 2010) regarding the Borough’s acceptance of the proposed gift of three parcels of riverfront land.

The letter discussed three options Borough Council is considering with regard to the gifting of three parcels of riverfront property by Safe Harbor to Columbia Borough. He outlined the three options and explained that he feels the best option would be for the Borough to accept the gift of land and then offer to sell the land to the cabin owners who currently occupy the property.”

May 10, 2010 … Council agenda item: “Consider gift of 3 parcels of land by Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation.” In the minutes for that meeting: “A motion to request a written letter of intent with regard to gifting three parcels of land to Columbia Borough from Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation.”
