  1. The borough does not own the Wenger Center. It is owned by the CBAA and is not underused. The real story is an ex-market manager tried a power play and lost. Speking of two other things on your site — as for the Planing Commission, don;t you have to be a resident of Columbia to be on the comission and 2, you mentioned nuissances that won’t go away. Well, Mr, Ex-Market Manager No. 2, you are one– please go away

  2. Boss man … Thank you for straightening us out on the ownership of the Noah Wenger Center. We apologize for that oversight. Certainly, the CBAA is a well-run organization that does real good in the community. We think CBAA is a model not-for-profit organization. Again, we meant no offense about usage; having been in that building a lot when it was the Armory, we just know its charm and utility.

RE: Planning Commission and residence. Found a citation for your question: “A planning commission consists of three to nine members who must be residents of the municipality.” This is cited on page four of this (http://www.newpa.com/webfm_send/1506).

RE: Your “nuisance” observation: In time.
