- EDITORIAL OBSERVATION: At last night’s borough council meeting, a citizen voiced several thought-provoking comments. The citizen commended the efforts and time devoted to and overall professional demeanor that many of the councilors and elected public servants display during the numerous council special committee meetings. The citizen praised them for their attending to the needs of the community. The citizen wondered aloud, though, why more citizens do not attend meetings. The citizen asked why councilor candidates have not been attending the meetings. The citizen stressed that much can be learned by participating. We applaud the “Mr. Smith” example set by the citizen!
