No Christmas Tree!

Most of these Lancaster County boroughs, towns and villages have festive downtowns and/or community Christmas trees.

  • MAYTOWN: “Maytown Historical Society is hosting the Maytown Winter Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. The town square will be the holiday-themed hub for this event, and at dusk the grand illumination of the town’s Christmas tree will be held. Tiny white lights will be lit in windows everywhere.”
  • EPHRATA: “SPECTACULAR OF LIGHTS. Santa comes to town, the town Christmas Tree gets lit, and there is singing and cookies and hot cider and all kinds of fun.  Come out and join the fun.”
  • EPHRATA, LITITZ, MANHEIM, ELIZABETHTOWN, MT. JOY

  • NEW HOLLAND – Christmas tree lighting – Family members of Ed Beck will do the tree lighting
  • STRASBURG: “Event organizer and borough councilman Don Bachman said Anderson also built the framework for the community Christmas tree, which is composed of lights and lit during every Pearl Harbor ceremony. Bachman said this year’s tree included 2,400 white lights for those lost in the attack on Pearl Harbor, along with more than 4,500 red and blue lights for those lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.”
