The auditor, appointed by the Board of School Directors, has completed its audit of the Columbia Borough School District funds for the school year ended June 30, 2011, and in accordance with the provisions of Section 2432 of Act 30, approved March 10, 1949, as amended, give notice that said report was filed on or about December 13, 2011, in the office of the Prothonotary of the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County and that said report will be confirmed absolutely unless an appeal is taken there from within thirty days after the filing thereof. The Single Audit Report of Columbia Borough School District dated November 18, 2011 is also available for public inspection at the business office of the School District.

- POLICE LOG: “COLUMBIA: Borough police charged Shawnte Dion Henderson, 43, no known address, with burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He was arraigned Monday before District Judge Robert A. Herman Jr. Henderson was caught allegedly stealing copper wire inside a vacant house on Perry Street, police said.
