“Tell the USDA: Don’t Trust the Makers of the GE Apple!”

We know that sliced apples turn brown, but they don’t lose any flavor or nutritional value, and not even the apple industry wants this genetically engineered (GE) product.

So why is this Canadian company spending millions of dollars on developing the GE apple?

It’s all about the $120 million in profits they are projected to receive in the first ten years of bringing the GE apple to market.

But is that money worth putting an unlabeled, untested, unnecessary and potentially unsafe product out on the market? Food & Water Watch does not think so!

Tell the USDA to reject the GE apple today.

  1. GE apple should not have USDA approval unless Rap Browns products have proper food inspections including expiration dates on the food products he sells.

  2. totally agree, donta.
USDA approval and expiration dates are required, where are our borough inspectors on this one?
