This Notice of Intent to Remediate states that the site is a residential nursing and rehabilitation center. The site has been found to be contaminated with No. 2 Fuel Oil which was suspected to have contaminated soil and groundwater on the site. Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LP and Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC has indicated that the proposed remediation measures will be removal of any impacted soil or groundwater. The proposed future use of the property will be residential. This notice is made under the provision of the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the Act of May 19, 1995, P.L. #4, No. 2.”
