  1. Two points:

One, is this video supposed to be a promotion for the CEDC or Columbia?

Two, didn’t one of these board members just buy a residential property in West Hempfield for over $500,000.? What happened to the LOVE they all expressed having for Columbia? I guess property in Columbia wasnt’ good enough for him and his family. SMH…

  2. Right on Vera. Do as I say not as I do. At the same time look at how the CEDC helped them selves at the expense of the Columia tax payers with the River Front property sale. Absolutely rediclious. That sure didn’t do anything to help the taxpayers of Columbia. How many members and there friends benefited from that deal. The property should have been put up for public auction and sold for the goning price. It absolutely would have reduced the debt the Boro is carrying.

  3. yes, yes, some members of CEDC speak with forked tongue.
I guess when it comes down to it selfish greed takes over for community loyalty.

  4. Ah-h-h, Joe … You’re not suggesting that properties like these listed in the DEEDS RECORDED in the Sunday News on February 3 might be part of that CEDC project: “Columbia Heritage River Cottage Association Inc. conveyed Unit 10 + to Harry L. Knighton, Carol A. Knighton, Blake H. Knigh¬ton and Cole F. Knighton for $1. – Columbia Heritage River Cottage Association Inc. conveyed Unit 3 to Debby H. Wells for $1. – Columbia Heritage River Cottage Association Inc. conveyed Unit 2 to Ralph W. Roseboro and Ann M. Roseboro for $1?” Are you? Everyone’s been assured this was a “up and up” economic develoment project from the Borough to the Columbia Economic Development Corporation to the Columbia Heritage River Cottage Association, Inc. Look it up.

  5. does anyone have information regarding a cheese steak stand on the Columbia market? I hear thet are the best sreak sandwiches around. Can you tell me the standholders name of business and hours of operation, I want to try their sandwiches,

  6. THANKS
FOR THE INFORMATION, ME GO THERE THIS WEEK TO TRY CHEESE STEAKS
Do you know if members of Boro Council have tried the cheese steaks?

  7. Guiedo … One might think all the Borough elected public servants and others who sing their own praises about how their “efforts” led to the Market House’s success would frequent it, huh? Maybe you’ll see them there this week?

  8. thnx for your insight, just questioning if there are conflicts of interest with some market stand holders and members of boro council. Me hope to get a cheese steak at market, have you tried one?

  9. It is about time the citizens of Columbia start to pay attention to what is goning on in town.
Things are starting to smell like dead fish. It is way past time for some transnparency with the the things that effect the tax payers of Columbia. Costing them tons of money.

  10. me try to get in market house over my lunch period ( 1/2 HR) today. you think my blue coveralls I work in would be ok? Perhaps you could meet me and buy me my first cheese steak, what ya think?

  11. Guiedo … Hope you made it to Market House. Must have missed you; just returned from my shopping trip. Might have joined you for lunch had I known who you are. Maybe another day?

  12. me no make market today, working on engine, had problems, didn’t take lunch. I work 1/2 day saturday that would be altro giorno.
