Last night we opened an email from a “brother.” We are soldiers, war fighters of “that” generation … now forever “brothers and sisters.”

Just as the war fighters of this generation will be.

The email contained a link to the video below, and we choked a bit and nodded as we focused on these youtube comments:

“I am an Army Veteran who had to fight in Viet Nam. When ever I hear anyone glorify war, my first reaction is to throw up at such ignorance, my second impulse is to strangle him and do the world a favor. Please always honor the warrior, but damn to hell the war and the people who put us there.”

“Amen brother. We had some rotten dirty ass politicians in the 60s who lied to the American public and we still haven’t learned about getting into expensive wasteful wars. Lies, lies, from all of them. No more wars, God help us if we get involved with Iran….the war drum are already beating. The American people need to stand up and stop these warmongers.”
