- Jonal Gallery, Columbia, will be showcasing a tribute to this commemorative event called “Our Bridge is Burning. Our Country is Changed Forever.” You can find a promotional poster at our website.
- Weavings, Ink., Wrightsville, will honor this commemorative event with a show entitled “Gone With the Wind and Fire.” Five artists from the area will share their interpretation of this historic event.
- Stop in at lowercase gallery, Wrightsville, where their exhibit will feature 25 artists and their interpretation on bridges. Special guests to the BRIDGE exhibit are the amazing trio of painters, The Root 222 Art Crew. They will be painting LIVE throughout the evening, with the finished work to be included in BRIDGE.

End your night by viewing the “Flames across the Susquehanna” event. Watch as ceremonial fires on top of the original 25 piers of the bridge that was burnt in the Civil War are lit and then enjoy a fireworks show over the river. Prior to the dusk ceremony, the Susquehanna Travelers, a troupe of Civil War musicians, will entertain on the grounds of the John Wright Restaurant overlooking the piers. The Route 462 Bridge between Columbia and Wrightsville will be closed to traffic and open for the public to view the event. Lighting of the piers will begin at 9:30 pm; fireworks are scheduled for 10:00 pm.
