There will be so much activity in the river towns of Columbia and Wrightsville this weekend as both communities have prepared ongoing activities.
There’s “Fourth Friday in Columbia, Marietta & Wrightsville.”
And the Annual Antique, Art and Craft Show: “This popular outdoor event runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and features over 200 vendors filling Locust Street Park and lining the main thoroughfare. Look for a mixture of crafts, antiques, food and entertainment. There is no admission fee. Free parking & free shuttle service is available – located at Glatfelter Field along Rt. 462 at 13th Street in Columbia. The Shuttle makes 3 stops: at Second & Locust St., Sixth and Locust St. and at Cherry Street at Rt. 462. Shuttle service begins at 8:45 am and ends at 3 pm. This event is held rain or shine.”
And just look at the list of “bridge burning” related events posted at the Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce Website.
Wrightsville, too, has a full slate of sesquicentennial events.
