Notice the poo-colored water today?
While shopping at a downtown business earlier today, we used the bathroom. What, wondered why the water in the urinal was brown tinted. Curious, we thought. Flush, and see what happens. The refilling water is poo-colored too.
H-m-m-m, same color in the water in the wash-up sink.
Called a person who lives downtown; same thing, the person responded.
Went to the Water Company Website; surely there would be a caution posted there.

oh so gross, poo colored water, what is causing this and is it safe to drink this water?.

Hard for me to believe “The Donald” would conceal from the public any water co. negatives, what do all of u think about this?
Oh, nice! Of course I do not trust the Columbia Water Company, and he wants to raise our rates 21%. Donald should be ashamed of himself but all he cares about is his love affair with the old mighty dollar!!!
So it is later in the day, the water pressure is still low and the water is still discolored. I looked on the Water Co website- no info. I called the office number, no answer. I called the Water plant- a gentleman stated there was a water main break earlier in the day, a “shot” of discolored water got into the system in parts of the Borough, it was safe to drink, and has been chlorinated.
I asked the staff person WHY this information was not on the website, he just said he was sorry. I know it is not his job, I just want to be informed, and know the water is safe.
