According to this Lancaster OnLine article, “Columbia School District officials say they are not able to share any specific numbers with the public on their preliminary final budget even though they plan to vote on it Thursday.”

Does not the school board understand that they live in a democracy, and that they represent the people whose right it is to know what the board is planning to do before they vote on it? Perhaps this is a lesson they wish to convey to the children of the citizens, and what a civics lesson it is!
I urge the citizens to call these school board members and raise holy hell with them.
Scool Board, Boro Council, MAYOR, they all set their own guidelines and agendas. Mostly behind closed doors. Go Columbia!!! You don’t deserve to be a part of PA Rivertowns.
