At the July 11, 2016 council meeting, the results of the borough’s survey about whether to publish its legally stipulated legal notices in the daily newspaper of general circulation or another publication was discussed.

The results of a borough-conducted survey of citizens showed that three of four of the 58 surveys received favored no change. Accordingly, LEGAL NOTICES, as this one in today’s LNP – Always Lancaster, will continue to be published in that publication.

Curiously, there was no discussion of publishing its own legal notices at the borough Website – vitrually, a no-cost opportunity to inform citizens.
