Dr. Amanda Kemp

Dr. Kemp recently authored and published  Say the Wrong Thing:  Stories and Strategies for Racial Justice and Authentic Community. Her timely book seeks to increase communication about racial profiling, racial violence and movements to make Black Lives Matter. Short and powerful, Say the Wrong Thing is especially geared toward educators and people of faith.

The three workshops present strategies from Say the Wrong Thing that people of all races can use to resolve conflicts, enhance diversity and inclusion, and promote honest dialogue across the color line. Each workshop lasts one hour and includes interactive exercises and information.

Trust the Process – Aug. 25, 2017 @noon

One may attend one or all of the workshops.

The workshops will be offered at The Candy Factory, Lancaster’s premiere co-working space located at 342 N. Queen St. (rear) in Lancaster, PA 17603.  They are free and appropriate for high schoolers and adults.  Registration is requested via email reply at amanda.kemp@fandm.edu.
