Thanks for posting our borough results. Glad to see that Hickernell got a close call here. Looks like half of those that voted in Columbia no longer want Hickernell representing them. Those numbers are great for a young, new face going up against a long term representative. It’s so encouraging to see a new generation willing to work so hard for the greater good. It’s a relief to know they will carry on.
Yes, Jess King made a good challenge. However, southern York County, which is full of Republicans, added too many votes to Smucker for her to have a chance in the 11th District.
In all of York county’s elections, the Democrats lost. Fear politics won again. Disgusting!
Actually, sometimes it’s tough to figure out where the southern York County and Alabama line is.
I wonder if there is a line.
