Columbia news, views & reviews opened an email last night from a reader; in the email the writer observed that someone, with direction from an elected public servant, has been spraying Round-up or some other herbicide on the brickwork sidewalks along Chestnut Street. In Lancaster, there’s a serious movement underway that says “Round-up is worse than we thought.”

We decided to take a walk along the “visible” gateway streets and the general downtown area and see the scenes. Throughout Columbia and everywhere, homeowners and gardeners battle the eternal enemy … the WEED!
