- See the Neptune Diner in downtown Lancaster is about to re-open. It’s interesting to note that the pre-opening food safety inspection accomplished on March 16, 2016 showed no violations. Before the 2015 fire, the Neptune racked up 18 violations in a 2014 inspection and a dozen in a 2013 inspection. Appears it’s easier getting ready for inspections when no food preparation is being done.
