Today’s news and information gleanings from here and there!
Today’s quote … “Politicians who feel the need to ban, manipulate and otherwise control the press are showing weakness and insecurity — not strength.” – from this LNP – Always Lancaster editorial condemning the dumass decisions of elected public servants and wannabe’s who won’t talk to news media because they cannot control what will be said.
A second quote … “The functionaries of every government have propensities to command at will the liberty and property of their constituents. There is no safe deposit for these but with the people themselves, nor can they be safe with them without information. Where the press is free, and every man able to read, all is safe.” – Thomas Jefferson, 1786.
A third quote … “A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.” – Steve Martin

- Here’s a “makes sense” discovery at the Borough Website | “Please note: Internal Borough email addresses have been changed to the person’s first initial and last name @columbiapa.net (see contact page)!” It’s just another small step to have the councillors and the mayor added to that list!!!
