May be my imagination but, it seems like the number of new cases drops on the weekend and then rises early in the week. Look at the bottom chart; it is somewhat cyclical. What it all means is beyond me.
We’ve noticed that, too. Wonder whether it’s related to weekend staffing? Maybe not every reporting jurisdiction has different staffing? Maybe unfamiliarity with reporting requirements procedures?
