Resident Artists Show at the Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts – February 24 through April 6, 2012

Resident artists will exhibit their work at the Susquehanna Creative Center for the Arts (SCCA’s) HIP Gallery through April 6, 2012.

This show is comprised of work by artists who maintain a studio at the SCCA. This diverse group of veteran and emerging artists will display recent and past works in many mediums including ceramics, bronze sculpture, mixed media sculpture, paintings, mixed media paintings, and glass.

Participating artists are:

  • Ben Ahlgrim (Through the Fire Studios) – glass and ceramics
  • Jeremy Friedly (Through the Fire Studios) – glass and paintings
  • Milt Friedly (Friedly Fine Art) – bronze, ceramic vessels and steel sculpture
  • Claire Giblin – paintings
  • Carol Galligan – mixed media paintings
  • Caitlin Vajdic (Young Resident Artist) – sculpture
  • Tom Wagner – paintings

The Resident Artists Show will open to the public Friday, February 24 with a reception from 5-9 PM. Some artists will have their studios open to the public. A second reception is scheduled for Friday March 23 from 5-9 PM.

Regular Gallery Hours are: Tuesday through Friday 2-5 PM and Saturday 1-5 PM or by appointment.

The Susquehanna Center for the Creative Arts is located at 452 Locust Street, Columbia, Pa 17512.
