  • Restaurant inspections in York CountyYork Dispatch. Unbelievably, it is the same tale again this week at too many restaurants: “person in charge does not have adequate knowledge of food safety.” See the week’s county restaurant inspections in  Lancaster County Lancaster Sunday News. A complete listing of all facilities in Lancaster, York counties and the entire state, except those “the breakaway banana republic of Columbia”, are listed at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Website.
  • POLICE LOG: “EPHRATA: Two 22-year-old men were charged with giving alcohol to minors after Ephrata police responded to complaints of yelling and a loud banging noise waking other guests at a motel late Friday night. Earl J. Root, of Columbia, and Trevor A. Kimmel, of Manheim, were charged after officers arrived at the room of the Scottish Inn, in the 200 block of North Reading Road, and reportedly found the men with alcohol, suspected drugs and two teenagers. Root also was charged with drug possession. He was found to have an outstanding bench warrant and was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department to be committed to county prison.” – Lancaster Sunday News
