  • “Two area students, Brynn Kelly and Julianne Leddy, will be among the 33 students who will be competing in the “54th annual Intelligencer Journal Spelling Bee, which will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Conestoga Valley Middle School, Mount Sidney Road. Forty-six schools in Lancaster County registered to participate in this year’s bee, and 103 students qualified to take the written test. Results of the 100-word test pared the group down to the 33 students who will compete on Friday.” – Lancaster Intelligencer Journal/New Era
