- Pennsylvanians over 50 are invited to try out for the seventh annual PA State Senior Idol competition. Applicants can schedule a private audition at one of four locations. Each entrant may choose his or her first-choice location for a three and one-half minute audition, but auditions per location are limited, so placement will be on a first-come, first-served basis. A local audition will be held on May 3 at The Heritage Hotel Lancaster, 500 Centerville Road, Lancaster. Fifteen semifinalists will perform before an audience at the competition on June 4 at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre, 510 Centerville Road. The winner of Pa. State Senior Idol 2012 will receive a limousine trip to New York City for dinner and a show.
