For anyone who never has a chance to meet this man, he was an extraordinary person in addition to an extraordinary businessman. Kind and generous. Never acted like he was too good or above you. Never forgot his Reading roots and have back to the city and the area in a big way. As a philanthropist, he set a standard most of today’s business leaders could only hope to meet. Will be greatly missed.

I suggest reading Mr. Boscov’s obituary at Reading Eagle newspaper. His philanthropy is unmatched by most anyone I’ve had the pleasure to meet. Amazing, amazing, amazing……
