This is kind of attack by the NIMBY’s is a red herring. Be it a donation, bribe, or a “lapse of judgement” it has nothing to no with the desirability or detriment of the development itself.
True statements you make, Mr. D. But it does point out that developers or anyone can make seemingly innocuous contributions to what end?
Better that elected public servants come clean by listing all their gifts and contributions received or NOT ACCEPT CASH AND GIFTS, PERIOD.
